She had a long successful career with Levi Strauss Co., San Francisco. She then founded a real estate company and operated it as its CEO for 15 years. She is currently involved in managing various investments including real estate. Ms. Sierra is very active in her community and in various societal and environmental issues. She has received many honors for her work for women’s rights, animal rights and environmental issues. She is a primary initiator of MET and a founding trustee. Suresh Barve - Managing Trustee A veteran of over 30 years, Mr. Barve has worked with multinational companies such as BAYER, CIBA, and others. He is a recognized expert in the fields of manufacturing and marketing. He has helped his clients in areas of project planning, implementation and commissioning and with his innovative use of the COST-TIME-QUALITY triangle. As a senior executive, he negotiated and implemented major joint ventures with foreign companies. He is currently interested in advances in information technology and devising " tailor made" information technology strategies for his clients. Mr. Barve is an active member of his community and a great philanthropist. He is a primary initiator of MET and a founding trustee. Anagha Borkar - Managing Trustee Ms. Borkar heads an IT / Web Consulting company. With business both in India and abroad, her company is helping clients in various fields, from manufacturing to finance and from research to human resources. Her company specializes in branding, promotional, and marketing activities of her clients. Ms Borkar, in addition to her responsibilities as a CEO and MET board member, is active in her community charitable organizations. Dan (G. S. ) Dangat - Managing Trustee and Chief Operating Officer Mr. Dangat is a management consultant helping organizations for last two decades. He has had a long career with IBM in its technical, management and executive ranks in various parts of the company. Prior to joining IBM, Dan also worked with British Petroleum and Stone Container Corporation. He has led consulting engagements on a variety of management issues for his clients. He has received several awards from his company, his clients and from professional societies. He also has four patents related to semiconductor manufacturing. He is an honored member of 1990 Who's Who Worldwide.Dan is active in his community and in various charitable organizations. Arun Dravid - Trustee Dr. Dravid is a professional chemical engineer with exceptional academic career milestones such as President's Gold medal from IIT Bombay, and a straight A record at MIT through his doctorate. He has held early positions with Shell and Chevron, and later rose to senior management positions with Jacobs Engineering Group, currently as Vice President at their global head quarters in Pasadena, CA, and concurrently as Chairman of their 2,000 people Indian subsidiary. Arun has taught at IIT, Bombay as Visiting Professor in Chemical Engineering some years ago. He has received numerous awards, honors, and Fellowships from prestigious professional bodies for his contributions to research and development and the engineering profession. Arun has been supporting several charities, some directly and some indirectly, through his monetary as well as physical contributions. Almost as a parallel career, being the senior most disciple of Ganasaraswati Kishori Amonkar, Arun is a performing Indian classical vocalist of repute, and is often heard at prestigious venues in India and U.S. Anand R. Gokhale - Managing Trustee Dr. Gokhale is a management consultant helping organizations with their various management and organizational challenges. He has had a long career with IBM in its technical, management and executive ranks in various parts of the company including manufacturing, marketing, consulting and research. He has led consulting engagements on a variety of management issues for his clients. He has received several awards from his company, his clients and from professional societies. Dr Gokhale is a founding trustee of MET. Sandesh Malpure - Managing Trustee Mr. Malpure is Chief Executive Officer of StratIS Corporation. With over two decades of technological and management experience in the software and systems integration in automotive and healthcare industries, his company is helping its clients in the areas of strategic management of IT resources, strategic technology transformation management, client-server and web applications development, product development, and e-commerce entrepreneurial opportunities. Mr Malpure is active in his community and in various charitable organizations.
